Since 1999, The Meeting Place in Nanaimo has been a place where you can bring your questions and your friends, knowing you will always be welcomed. We’re a church for the skeptic, the curious, the un-churched, over-churched and the anti-church. We’re a church for Jesus-followers who want to learn how to become more like him in their everyday, ordinary, throughout the whole week lives. We don't pretend to have it all together or know all the answers. We've just experienced the amazing difference that Jesus has made in our lives and in the lives of the people who call TMP home.
We're a community walking together on this journey of life that we've all been invited into, supporting one another and always looking for opportunities to share love, kindness and hope with everyone - regardless of race, religion, orientation, politics, ethnicity or anything else.
We are on an all-out mission to learn how to live life with faith, peace, confidence and joy... and to fully share Christ's love with our world. There's always room for you to join us!

Our Vision is: to be people who are all about unleashing God's extravagant love in this city and around the world.
Our Mission is simple: to equip people to love God and love others - everyday, everywhere.
We're excited to be unleashing God's love locally in the Nanaimo area
and internationally with Compassion Canada. Click on the button below for more details.
During the month of November we're collecting sleeping bags, tarps, emergency blankets, and items such as gloves, socks, toques--things to help people living on the street stay warm during cold weather. Please no comforters or afghan-style blankets (they take a long time to dry and end up being abandoned.) You can bring donations to the Galaxy lobby on Sunday mornings or drop them off during the week at 5665 Dustin Place in Nanaimo. Simply leave them on the front porch, no need to knock. Thanks in advance for your generosity, TMP!
