Weird Things Christians Do: Communion

1. What is something that you do, don’t do, believe, or don’t believe that other people might consider weird? Why do you do/not do that thing? (What’s the ‘why’?)

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how good are you at remembering things? Is it the big things or the small things (or both) you sometimes forget? 

3. In what ways do you think forgetfulness can be an enemy to our faith? 

4. Read Joshua 4:1–7. What is a “stone” of remembrance in your faith that you can look back to as a time of God’s faithfulness?

5. What stood out to you the most from today’s message that helped de-weird communion for you?
